BVI Covid-19 Update

JULY 5, 2021 UPDATE:

One thing of interest to BVI charter guests in the coming weeks is that the Cabinet decided that, in addition to existing measures, all vaccinated persons will be subject to a rapid test upon arrival, effective 12th July, 2021, at a fee of $50.00.
 
 
The British Virgin Islands Minister of Health & Social Development, The Honourable Carvin Malone, issued a statement on June 10, 2021: Covid-19 Update and Adjusting Covid-19 Public Health Measures to Support Continued Safe Reopening.

Effective June 15, 2021:
  • Fully vaccinated persons traveling to the British Virgin Islands from overseas will no longer be subjected to COVID-19 tests upon arrival.
  • Rapid antigen Covid tests (as well as RT-PCR test) will now be accepted for entry if you are fully vaccinated.
  • In addition, the Gateway fees will be reduced to $35 for these individuals.
  • Fully vaccinated travellers will no longer be subject to PCR testing on arrival (day zero) and as a result, NO quarantine time would be required save for that ordered by a Quarantine Officer as a result of their entry screening.

International entry by pleasure boats is still not allowed.
