We have known Harmony for about a dozen years (previously with Sweet Harmony) and they are one of our favorite motor yachts. The most excellent Captain Jack McKay and his highly experienced crew are very knowledgeable with cruising the Eastern Mediterranean as they have been doing so for the last several years. Cruise Turkey with Charter Yacht Harmony

Discover the magnificent country of Turkey onboard motoryacht HARMONY…

Harmony is a 115’ Crescent which can accommodate 8-10 guests in 4 luxurious staterooms. The yacht has been impeccably maintained and is one of the most exquisite Crescents ever built.

Discover Turkey’s densely layered cityscapes, magnificent classical ruins, and “high energy” bazaars given to the country’s unique position at the crossroads of Asia and Europe. Captain Jack McKay and his crew invite you aboard for an unforgettable Eastern Mediterranean cruise!

DAY ONE

Arrive at HARMONY in Marmaris, the yachting capital of Turkey and get started with Turkey’s Ottoman history with a look at Suleyman the Magnificent’s 1522 castle overlooking the harbor.

DAY TWO

Take a short cruise to Kumlubuk Bay. Visit the Hellenistic ruins of Amos, including an altar to Dionysus. Back in Marmaris, explore modern Netsel Marina and stop for a drink in its waterfront shopping and dining district. Marmaris is a bazaar town, so leave room in your luggage!

DAY THREE

Explore beautiful bays at Serce Limani. There are six shipwrecks in and around this sheltered cove, the most famous of which is the 1035 wreck of a vessel loaded with glass. Cruise on to the jewel-like Ekinick Bay and have a massage at the spa in the Hotel Ekincik.

DAY FOUR

Leave the yacht for a day trip to the ancient coastal town of Caunos with its acropolis, agora, and temples. Board a small boat for an unforgettable trip up the Daylan River to see the ancient tombs carved into the cliff face.

DAY FIVE

Cruise southeast to the Gulf of Fethiye, renowned by sailors as one of the most scenic gulfs in the world.  Tie up at Ece Saray Marina in the port of Fethiye, with a stunning backdrop of mountains. Relax in a Turkish bath at the marina’s spa.

DAY SIX

Head to Tersane Island for lunch, then follow in the footsteps of Cleopatra and Marc Antony, who honeymooned in Manastir Bay. Your next stop is the beautiful bay of Oludeniz, surrounded by white sand beaches.

DAY SEVEN

Return to the Gulf of Fethiye for a stop in Tomb Bay, filled with fifth-century ruins. Disembark in the scenic port of Gocek which is convenient to Dalman Airport.

HARMONY, Summer Vacation 2007

We sent an email to some of our favorite charter boats to ask what they did on THEIR summer vacation.

Here's what Jack, captain of the 115-foot motoryacht, HARMONY, had to say:

Hi Sheila & Bob,

We cruised the Med this summer.. Including Palma Mallorca, Ibiza, the French Riviera, and the Italian coast... The weather was mostly good.

The French governmant provided firework shows very often and people were very nice. In a nut shell, it was a good season for us. In a couple of weeks it's back to St Martin...
