Bear Paw is a 90-foot custom expedition yacht for private charter in the San Juan Islands in Washington State to the Southeast Alaskan waters. Bear Paw is focussed on showcasing all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. There is no set schedule and the vessel can go in to places that large cruse ships cannot go. This is a personalized experience depending on the guests needs, interests and activity level. An elevator is available to serve all three decks on board for any guests with limited mobilities.

Nature Lovers Delight

A wide range of activities like hiking, kayaking, beachcombing, fishing, setting up shrimp and crabpots for the daily catch is a way of life. Sit back, relax and enjoy a book, or watch the shorelines go by while underway, You can birdwatch and also spot countless species such as sea and river otters, humpback whales, orcas whales, porpoises, stellar sealions, harbor seals, bald eagles, hummingbirds, and discover some local natural hot springs too!

Bill & Chrystal, owner-operators of Bear Claw, know the San Juan Islands and the Gulf Islands thoroughly and have spent the last three years discovering what SE Alaska has to offer. Thousands of miles covered together and more to discover. Bear Paw is a dream come true and awaits new friends to join. Bear Paw operates with a crew of 3, or 4 upon request.

Amenities

 

Bear Paw is a 90-foot, custom built, expedition vessel chartering in the Pacific Northwest and Southeast Alaska. They have 3 spacious, equivalent guest statesrooms with each having a walkaround king-size bed and ensuite bathrom with standup showers. Standing headroom is 7 feet throughout the vessel. Bear Paw has a 60" television and Starlink. They have a 20-foot Boston Whaler tender, kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing gear.

Schedule

• Alaska: Based in Sitka Harbor from April to September. 
• Washington: Based in Friday Harbor from September to March for charters in the San Juan Islands.
• Repositioning cruise: 2-week repositioning voyage from Alaska to Washington in September, inquire for details.

Charter Yacht Tivoli - Summer in ALASKA

Where do your dreams of a private yacht charter take you this summer?

To the magnificent bays and fjords of Alaska, perhaps? The charter yacht Tivoli, a 90-foot expedition motor yacht, will be chartering in Alaska this summer.

Charter Yacht Tivoli - Yacht charters in Hawaii and Alaska

Tivoli will be chartering in Hawaii through March 31, 2014 and then moving up to Alaska for summer yacht charters in and around Juneau and Sitka between mid-May through the end of August, and, weather depending, September.

NEW ALL-INCLUSIVE RATES for ALASKA Summer 2014

Tivoli is now offering an all-inclusive rate (with some restrictions) of $49,500/wk for up to 6 or 8 guests for their Alaskan charters this year. For families, they can accommodate up to 8 with use of a pullman berth in 2 of their 3 guest cabins.

The charter fee includes the yacht, 2 tenders (one 18-foot Novurania with twin 50HP outboards & one 13-foot Novurania with single 50HP outboard), 4 professional crew, 3 meals/day including snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, Alaska taxes, generator fuel, yacht fuel for cruising at 9 knots for up to 6 hours/day averaged over the length of the charter, and tender fuel for average of up to 6 hours/day.

Not included in the standard charter fee: customary crew gratuity (15-20%) at charterer's discretion, alcoholic beverages (charged at cost), optional experienced Alaska nature guide/photographer ($400/day), optional fishing license for salmon, bottom fishing, crab and shrimp; optional halibut fishing (which requires hire of a boat and guide).

Explore mountain-framed fjords and pristine bays in the protected waters of the Inside Passage in Alaska’s southeastern panhandle. Get up close to orcas and humpback whales, sea lions, sea otters, seals, bald eagles, horned puffins, and other seabirds. Keep a lookout for bears foraging along the beach. While gazing at the grandeur of the glaciers, you may witness an iceberg calving when huge chunks of glacial ice break off and plunge into the water.

There will be time to discover the region’s traditional cultures, too, including that of the native Tlingits and the heritage established by Russians who settled in Sitka in the 1800s.

With Tivoli's expert on-board naturalist, you can be sure you’ll have unsurpassed opportunities to see all of the wildlife. He is also extremely knowledgeable about local history and geology, and takes personal pleasure in introducing guests to this fascinating region. If you’d like to go hiking or kayaking, he’ll lead the way. What’s more, he is a professional photographer who’s happy to help you capture great pictures of everything you experience.

Tivoli will also be pleased to make arrangements for additional private excursions including sightseeing by seaplane or helicopter tours, dogsledding, and fishing.

Day 1

Arrive at Ko Olina Marina. If time permits there are beaches close by or just relax and recover from the journey.

17 miles. Leave Ko Olina Marina and travel down the south shore past Pearl Harbour to the Marina Ala Wei right in the heart of the buzzing town of Waikiki.
Kick some sand, go surfing or shop, or we can arrange a tour of the historic and very poignant Pearl Harbor. We will stay the night in Waikiki.

Day 3

30 miles. Depart Molokai for a gentle motor to the island of Lanai. Lānaʻi is the sixth-largest of the Hawaiian Islands and the smallest publicly accessible inhabited island in the chain. It is also known as Pineapple Island because of its past as an island-wide pineapple plantation. Spend the rest of the day in a quiet bay swimming and snorkeling, or we will arrange a tour of the island.

Charter Patagonia Chile aboard Expedition Yacht TRIBU this February 2009

The motor yacht TRIBU is available for charter beginning February 20, 2009 in Puerto Mont to Puerto Arenas, Patagonia Chile.



This 165.5 foot (50.5m) luxury, expedition-style charter yacht accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 cabins, and has a crew of 12. There will be two Chilean pilots/guides aboard to assist in this very special cruising ground.
