About Catamaran Rumba

Flybridge

 

Rumba is a 52-foot Lagoon catamaran with a crew of two. Rumba is fully air conditioned and accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 cabins. There are 4 Queen cabins and one Twin cabin with upper/lower bunks. Each cabin has a private ensuite head (sink, shower, electric-flush toilet).

 

Forward deck

There's a lot of room aboard Rumba with lounge areas on the flybridge, aft cockpit, foredeck sitting area with nice awning, plus the comfortable interior salon.

 

Salon 

 

Amenities and toys include: 14-foot dinghy with 40HP motor, adult waterskis, tube, subwing, wakeboard, 4 standup paddleboards (SUPs), snorkel gear, large floating mat, fishing equipment (in USVI only), onboard wifi (no streaming please), USB/Device hookup, etc.

Catamaran Starfish - Crewed Caribbean Catamaran Charters - BVI Sailing Vacations

Starfish is a 46-foot Leopard catamaran with an owner-operator crew. Starfish accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 Queen cabins each with private ensuite head that includes sink/vainity, stall shower, and electric-flush toilet.

Starfish has a very interesting special offer for the remaining available weeks of the 2023 season. 

SPECIAL OFFER

 

For new bookings placed before July 1, 2023 for BVI charters to start before December 7, 2023, all guests will enjoy:

• FREE Lobster Dinner on Anegada (with a round of rum punches/beer) at harborside restaurant; and
• FREE Island Land Tour of Anegada (with your crew as guide), includes picnic lunch on white sand beach; and
• ONE $500 Travel Reimbursement per charter group (to be applied towards transportation costs -- ferry, water taxi, land transport, air fare, etc.). Travel Reimbursement paid in cash upon boarding.

Starfish is a 46-foot Leopard catamaran based in the British Virgin Islands. The yacht is air conditioned and accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 Queen cabins with private ensuite head that includes sink/vainity, stall shower, and electric-flush toilet.

 

 

Starfish has a 14-foot, center-console dinghy with 40HP motor, tube, kayak, two standup paddleboards (SUPs), snorkel gear, noodles, floating mats & chairs, 8-person party float, beach games, SPF 30 & 50 reef-safe sunscreen, beanbag chairs for lounging on the bow, underwater GoPro camera, TV/DVD in salon, USB ports, wifi through the yacht, hair dryer, first-aid equipment including AED, oxygen, BP monitor; etc.

 

ABOUT THE CREW 

 

 

Sam and Jen have been married for 30-some years and are coming up on their 9th year of chartering Starfish. They have lived aboard boats for a number of those years with their daughters and are an excellent choice for family charters.

 

Guests often comment that it is so refreshing to see a husband & wife team work together so smoothly. 

Captain Sam loves to have guests who are interested in joining him at the helm to learn more about sailing or just sit back and enjoy the breeze and the panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of the islands. From Chef Jen's years of living aboard and sailing the world with her family, she has acquired her own style of yacht cuisine that incorporates fresh local ingredients from land and sea, as well as flavors of the islands they have visited. Reading cookbooks is her hobby. She delights in introducing guests to unique Caribbean flavors in her menus.
