George Wein's Jazz Festival 55 will take place at the Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island, August 8-9, 2009 from 11am to 7pm. This event will be kicked off by Etta James and the Roots Band on Friday, August 7th at 8pm at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, 194 Bellevue Avenue, Newport. This year's lineup features Tony Bennett, Branford Marsalis and Dave Brubeck.
