About Azuria

Azuria is a 50-foot Lagoon catamaran with a crew of two. This catamaran is fully air conditioned and accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 Queen cabins each with private ensuite head (sink, shower & electric-flush toilet). The master cabin (aft starboard) also has a small seating area. Guests cabins have TVs with DVD players.

Besides the large aft cockpit, and spacious salon, there is a seating area on the foredeck for additional lounging space.

Azuria has a 13-foot center console dinghy with 50HP motor, waterskis, tube (3-person banana), kneeboard, 2 wakeboards, 2 kayaks, 2 standup paddleboards (SUPs), snorkel gear, fishing equipment (BVI registered fishing vessel), 8-person floating island, noodles, beach games, hammock, bean bag chairs, underwater lights, TV/DVD in salon, iPod/device dock, onboard wifi where available, etc.

Please note that Azuria is a non-smoking yacht.

CHARTERS WITHIN THE US VIRGIN ISLANDS

We feel that a charter within the US Virgin Islands is currently the best location for your yacht charter as it is the most hassel-free choice. Entry to the US Virgin Islands is pretty straightforward. Basically, all travelers to the USVI (5 years of age or older) must register with the USVI Travel Screening Portal and have a negative Covid test to board the plane. A further test is not necessary to return to the mainland USA unless your state requires it. Passports for Americans not required. No cruise ships either :)

ABOUT ALTITUDE ADJUSTMENT

Altitude Adjustment is a 44-foot Lagoon catamaran with one crew. This catamaran is fully air conditioned and accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 double cabins, each with ensuite head (sink, shower, electric-flush toilet).

Altitude Adjustment has a lounging area on the forward deck behind the trampolines, seating on the flybridge, a spacious aft cockpit for al fresco dining, plus there's plenty of room in the interior salon.

Amenities include an 11-foot dinghy with 9.9HP motor, 2-person kayak, 3 standup paddleboards (SUPs), snorkel gear, floating mats, USB/device hookup, hammock, etc. No onboard internet but data packages can be purchased from local internet providers.

The Captain is cook and provides breakfast, lunch, and 4 dinners but requires guests to have 3 dinners ashore at their expense.

Captain Brian Saupe is a polymath; his expertise is wide-ranging. On board Altitude Adjustment he wears all the hats. Brian says, “I do everything on board; captain, cook, bartender, maid, plumber, engineer and diesel mechanic. I take care of everything, except musical entertainment, as unfortunately I can’t sing.” Not only does he do everything, he does it all extremely well. And, what Brian lacks in musical aptitude, he overwhelmingly compensates for in warmth, charm and humor.

RECENT GUEST COMMENTS

We sailed on Altitude Adjustment in the USVI November 25th through December 1st (2020) and I wanted to send a note about our experience.

It was an amazing trip! From the moment we stepped on the boat, it was pure relaxation and enjoyment! Brian was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the history of the area, and we enjoyed the stories that he shared with us. We looked forward each day to his drink of the day selection and tried many things that we probably would have never tried on our own.

Best of all were his meals! For Thanksgiving we had steak and the biggest lobster tail I’ve ever seen! Every meal was outstanding! We truly did not expect to eat such wonderful gourmet meals on the trip and if the whole captain thing doesn’t work out, I’d recommend Brian open his own restaurant.

We were able to enjoy both popular and secluded locations. Having tacos at Lime Out is an experience that everyone needs to have at least once in their life, but the Hurricane Hole mooring was one of our favorites. At Hurricane Hole we had the whole place to ourselves and we were able to snorkel and paddle board all day.

I just can’t say enough about this trip and especially about Brian, he made our long anticipated trip simply amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to book a trip.
