About Bonnie Lynn...

Bonnie Lynn is a 72-foot (57' LOD) custom-built schooner and accommodates up to 6 guests in three cabins. Her fully air conditioned interior of teak & mahogany paneling and traditional brass fixtures combines modern comforts with old world charm

She is ideal for couples and families alike. Three spacious guest cabins and two adjoining guest heads & showers are located in the private, forward area with crew cabin and crew head & shower located aft. Starboard guest cabin has double bed & port guest cabin has double bed which can convert to single bed with day couch. The forward guest cabin has a starboard bunk that pulls out to a large double and to port a lower single & small upper double.

RATES: Plus all expenses, 7-night charter

• 6 guests: $12,000/week
• 4 guests: $11,000/week

Catamaran MANGO Open New Years and Christmas

Good News, Bad News...

Unfortunately we just had a cancellation on the catamaran Mango for New Years but the good news is that they are now available for YOUR holiday charter. Take your pick: New Years or Christmas... Both weeks are currently open.

The holiday weeks for this year work best as:

• Christmas: Saturday, December 20-27
• New Years: Sunday, December 28 - January 4

Charter Catamaran Mango - Crewed Caribbean Yacht Charters - Virgin Islands Sailing Vacations

The Yacht...

Mango is a 41-foot Lagoon catamaran owned and operated by Captain Kelly and Chef Diane. Mango is fully air conditioned and accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 cabins each with Queen berths and ensuite head/shower.

They have an 11-foot dinghy with 18HP motor, 2 kayaks, snorkel gear, floating mats, standup paddleboard (SUP), boogie board with plexiglass window, etc.

Please note that Mango is a non-smoking yacht.

The Price...

Mango has a very attractive and affordable introductory rate that includes BVI cruising taxes and permits. They have a 10% premium for holiday charters.

• 2 guests: $8,800/holiday week (standard rate: $8000/week)
• 4 guests: $10,450/holiday week (standard rate: $9500/week)
• 6 guests: $11,550/holiday week (standard rate: $10,500/week)

Specials (except for Christmas and New Years holiday weeks):

• $500 discount for Honeymoon and Anniversary charters
• $125 discount per child 12-years old and under

Mango also accepts charters of less than 4 nights and offers daysails, too! Inquire.

The Crew...

You will definitely have excellent meals and treats aboard as both women have experience in the culinary industry. Dianne looks forward to dazzling guests with a cuisine that mixes Caribbean flavors with French techniques.

Kelly and Dianne

Capt. Kelly After attending culinary school, Kelly worked as a baker and cook at a catering company for ten years in Portland, Oregon. Upon leaving the catering business, Kelly put her culinary education together with her computer skills and worked as a consultant, implementing systems and controls in restaurants.

Chef Dianne Dianne began working in the food industry in 1975. She graduated from Western Culinary Institute in 1989 and worked for The Red Lion Hotels. She was a Chef Instructor for 23 years at Le Cordon Bleu Portland (Oregon) and received Chef of the Year twice and several student appreciation awards.

In 2012, they felt it was time for a change. Dianne remembered her mom's favorite saying “a turtle only moves forward by sticking out its neck“. They decided it was time to live their dream so Dianne and Kelly sold almost everything they owned, including their house, and moved aboard Mango.

Promenade Yacht Charters - UPDATE

Here is an update about one of favorite yachts, the 65-foot trimaran Promenade.

Promenade has had a very busy season this winter. They have a nice spot open at the beginning of June but then they are booked solid for 8 weeks, June 14 through August 1, 2014. with a hold on August 3-9.

Promenade is chartering all summer in the Virgin Islands and we hope you will take advantage of our special summer offer.

SUMMER SPECIAL

Paradise Connections is offering a 5% discount on new Promenade bookings with charters taking place between August 10 and October 25, 2014.

We always advise trip cancellation insurance in case one of those pesky named storms pop up in our neck of the woods. None last year... Hurray!

HOLIDAYS: Are you looking for a spacious, fun boat for up to 10 people that offers diving (dive instructor) for the holidays? Book soon as there aren't many boats that can offer so much and they book up quickly. Christmas is open and can end as late as Saturday, December 27. Those are excellent dates. New Years (Sunday, December 28-January 4) has a hold but we may challenge the other group for their dates... inquire.

Trimaran Promenade - Crewed Sailing and Scuba Diving Yacht Charters

Sailing Vacations in the Virgin Islands

Promenade is a spacious 65-foot trimaran, with a beam of 35 feet, that accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 cabins.  The two forward cabins have Queen berths and ensuite head/shower, while the 3 aft cabins (one Queen, and two cabins that can either be configured as Twins or a King) share 2 heads with showers.

Promenade is an excellent choice for families or a group of friends, whether you dive or not, as there's plenty of things to do. "Will the kids get bored?" you ask... NO WAY!

I spent 5 nights aboard Promenade (aft Queen cabin) in November while attending the Tortola and St Thomas Charter Yacht Shows. I found the boat very comfortable and the excellent crew very hospitable. Promenade is one of our favorite charter yachts.

There's lots of things to do aboard Promenade: diving, snorkeling, kayaking, waterskiing, fishing, kneeboarding, tubing, banana riding, standup paddle boards, dancing with disco lighting and DJ booth, "power lounging", watch DVDs inside or outside, hiking, beachcombing, yoga on the beach, listening to tunes, or just chilling out... PLUS, ask nicely and they might just share some homemade ice cream with you!
